How do I recover a Hypothesis assignment inadvertently deleted?

If you inadvertently delete a Hypothesis assignment, the document’s annotations are recoverable by re-creating the assignment as described in the article, How do I recreate a Hypothesis assignment? Grading will be recoverable only if the corresponding gradebook item in Gradebook was not also deleted.
