Blue Yeti Nano USB Microphone

Information on the Yeti Nano USB Microphone for remote use.

The Yeti Nano microphone is ideal for single source (Cardioid) recording, or group (Omnidirectional) recording.

Parts & What They Do:

1. Stand

The snowball microphone comes with a small, tripod stand, that can be finicky to screw onto the mic. Make sure it is properly aligned, and hold near the top of the stand fixture so that it screws on properly. It should not be difficult to turn.

Adjust the angle, and gently spin the stand into place (or the mic onto the stand).

2. Volume Knob

Easily adjust the volume of the mic’s audio output by turning the volume knob in front (see picture 3).

You can also press the volume knob to mute or unmute: the ring light around the knob will be green when active, and red when muted.

3. Pattern Button

Toggle between the two pattern settings: Cardioid (direct-facing sound) and Omnidirectional (full ambient sound).

Appropriate Usage: Personal recording projects, podcasts, group recording sessions, general desktop or tabletop mic needs.
