Google Takeout or Transfer Error - Transfer Your Content is only available to authorized G Suite for Education Accounts.
This error occurs because you are logged into multiple Google accounts in the same browser, and the system is defaulting to your personal account instead of your G Suite for Education account.
How to fix the error
Option 1:
- Use an Incognito/Private Window: This is the easiest solution.
- Open a new incognito or private browsing window in your browser (e.g.,
Ctrl+Shift+Non Windows,Cmd+Shift+Non Mac). - Navigate to the Google Takeout Transfer page.
- Sign in to your G Suite for Education account. The transfer process will proceed correctly without your personal account interfering.
- Open a new incognito or private browsing window in your browser (e.g.,
Option 2:
- Sign Out and Sign In Again:
- Log out of all Google accounts in your browser.
- Clear your browser's cookies and cache.
- Close your browser completely.
- Open a new browser window and sign in only to your G Suite for Education account.
- Go to Google Takeout Transfer and start the process
