Flushing DNS Cache - Windows

How to flush the DNS cache on a Windows PC.
  • Open Command Prompt as administrator:
    • Click the Start button and type cmd in the search bar.
    • Right-click on "Command Prompt" in the search results and select "Run as administrator".
    • Confirm any prompts to allow the program to make changes to your device.
  • Run the flush command:
    • In the Command Prompt window, type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter.
  • Verify the flush:
    • You should see a message confirming that the DNS Resolver Cache has been successfully flushed.
  • Close Command Prompt:
    • Type exit and press Enter, or close the window by clicking the red "X"
