How do I post to a topic?

Forums are organizational units that group topics within the site. You cannot post directly to a forum; you must first enter a topic and post your message there. In order to post to a topic, you will Start a New Conversation or thread.

Watch the following video to learn how to post to an online discussion, or refer to the instructions further below. The video also includes instructions on how to reply to a forum post and how to subscribe to discussions.

Also, please review the Sakai Discussions Survival Guide for Students to avoid problems commonly encountered when posting in Discussions.

Go to Discussions.

Select Discussions from the Tool Menu of your site.
