How do I make an item available only at a specific time?
Users can set the availability of a Resource file or folder to display to site participants at a specific date and time and become hidden at a specific date and time. By default, instructors can view all items in a site regardless of item availability settings.
Go to Resources.
Select the Resources tool from the Tool Menu of your site.
Click Actions, and then select Edit Details.
- Click the Actions option associated with a file or folder.
- Select Edit Details.
Specify the availability timing of the item or folder.
- Move down the page until you locate Availability and Access. Click Availability and Access to expand the options.
- Activate Show this folder. This option may already be activated automatically.
- Optionally, activate From and enter a date for availability to begin.
- Optionally, activate Until and enter a date for availability to stop.
- Click Update.
