How do I add and display contextual information about a file or folder?
Add a description to files and folders in Resources to help provide context or to provide details that can't be expressed in the title. Site participants can view details by clicking on the information icon located to the right of the item.
Go to Resources.
Select the Resources tool from the Tool Menu of your site.
Click Actions, and then select Edit Details.
- Click the Actions option associated with a file or folder.
- Select Edit Details.
Enter details, and then select Update.
Enter details about the file or folder in the Description field, then click Update.
View item details.
Site participants can view the details after clicking on the information icon located to the right of the item.
