How do I share a rubric?

Use the sharing feature to manually make a rubric in your site available to all other instructors and site owners in the system. See How do I use a shared rubric for my course? for information about copying a shared rubric to your site.

Go to the Rubrics tool.

Select the Rubrics tool from the Tool Menu of your site.

Click the Make Public icon.

Click the user icon (Make Public) associated with the rubric that you would like to share with other instructors and site owners in the system.

Verify that the rubric is shared.

After you've clicked the user icon (Make Public), it will toggle to a multiple-user icon (Revoke public sharing). This indicates that the rubric is now being shared.

A shared rubric will appear in the Public Rubrics listing near the bottom of the Rubrics tool in your site. See

Un-share a rubric

To un-share a shared rubric, click the multiple-user icon (Revoke public sharing) that's associated with the rubric.
