Where is my Sakai course?
If you are a student and can't find a specific course site in Sakai, one or more of the following issues might prevent you from accessing it:
- Not all PLU courses have corresponding Sakai sites. Course sites in Sakai are created when an instructor requests a course through the Request Course webform. Refer to your syllabus or check with your instructor if you are unsure of whether a Sakai site is available for the course they are teaching.
- Your instructor might not yet have published the course in Sakai. Refer to your syllabus or check with your instructor if you are unsure when the Sakai course will be published to students. Exactly when a course in Sakai is published is at each instructor's discretion.
- Your record of enrollment for the course might not yet have propagated to Sakai. It may take as long as 24 hours after you register for a class before your PLU ePass username will be automatically added into a Sakai course. If needed, your instructor can manually add you to a course in Sakai.
If none of the issues above pertain, you can find the course and project sites to which you currently belong in the Site Navigation. If you are enrolled in more sites than fit in the tabs across the page, the rightmost tab will be called More Sites. Click this tab to see a panel containing all your project sites and your courses listed by academic term, or use the search box at the top of the panel to find sites by title. Note that you can hide or rearrange the site tabs in the Site Navigation.
