Computers, Labs and Printing
Personal Computer Purchase Recommendations
PLU does not require students to have computers; however, it is highly recommended that you have your own computer to work on coursework outside of class. See details on our purchase recommendations page.
Computer Labs
I&TS supports two general computer labs for your computing needs: the Haley Information Center on the first floor of the Library and the Open Lab in Morken 114. Other labs are available on campus, but access to these spaces are generally arranged through the department that is the primary user of the space. For a listing of hardware and software on computers in these spaces, see our classrooms and labs page.
Printing and Copying
The Haley Information Center and Morken Open Lab have printers for printing papers, notes, articles, Web pages, and more. Your PLU LuteCard is loaded with 100 free copies initially. For details see printing and copying.
