Gmail: Changing the sender address for outgoing email messages

You can add the option to respond as different email addresses by doing the following:
1. Click the 'Settings' icon in the top right (looks like a cog).
2. Choose 'See All Settings'.
3. Click the 'Accounts' tab.
4. In the section 'Send mail as:', select 'Add another email address'.  Add the new account in the next window and click the 'Next Step' button at the bottom to continue.
5. Configure the settings to the left of your accounts to set your preferred account as the default.
NOTE: You can always select a different one on this list for individual sent messages.
6. Check the appropriate box under the 'When replying to a message' section to choose if you want to always reply using the same address a message was sent to or if you always want to use your default setting (Useful when you have multiple accounts going to the same Inbox).
