Network Registration: Finding the MAC address of your device (Linux)
How to find the MAC address (WiFi or Ethernet) of your Linux device.
1. Open the Terminal program (if running a Graphical interface) otherwise go to step 2.
2. Type ifconfig and hit enter to bring up a list of information.
3. Find the line labelled eth# for the Wired MAC address or wlan# for the wireless MAC address. (# is a number normally 0,1 or 2)
