How do I extend the due date for students needing accommodation?

On a student by student basis, instructors can extend the time permitted for a student to submit their work for a given assignment. Extensions can be granted anytime prior to a student submitting their work. (After which, an instructor can allow for a student to resubmit their work if submitted before the Accept Until date.)

Note: Technically, the extension an instructor grants with the following steps affects the Accept Until” date of an assignment, not its Due Date. Student work submitted after the due date will be marked as “late” though it is up to the instructor’s discretion to ignore that designation. The extension allows for a given student to submit their work for an assignment after the Accept Until date expires.

Post an assignment, if not yet posted.

For details, refer to the article, How do I add an assignment?
