How do I add text to a Lessons page?
Instructors can add a text box anywhere in a Lessons page.
Go to a desired Lessons page.
Click on the Lessons page title in the Tool Menu to display the page.
Note: The default or blank Lessons page contains text and images that explain the basic functionality of the Lessons tool.
Click Add Content, then Add Text.
Alternately, click the + button and then Add Text.
You can add content anywhere by clicking on the + button next to any existing item on the page. This will place the new content box above that item. Otherwise, clicking Add Content at the top of the Lessons page will place the newly added content at the bottom of the page.
Enter your text content.
Use the Rich Text Editor tools to format the text. When finished, click Save.
View content on page.
After saving, you will return to the Lessons page with the new text displayed.
In the example image above, two initial text boxes existed on the page. The text box at the top included the page header. The text box at the bottom contained an image. Clicking + icon associated with the text box containing the image and then Add Text placed the newly added text box above that text box with the image.
Add additional text items to the page. (Optional)
Repeat the steps above to add more content items to the page.
