How do I export a TurningPoint App session to Sakai?
1. Launch the TurningPoint App.
Important: For integration with Sakai, the version of TurningPoint required is version 8.7 or greater.
Launch the TurningPoint App from your PC or Mac. If TurningPoint is being launched for the first time, you will need to select your geographical region and click CONNECT.
Click Sign In.
Enter your PLU ePass username and password. Click Login. Then, continue through any remaining prompts for authenticating with Duo.
3. View session results for a participant list.
In the left panel select a session for a particular course. Then click the Results Manager button.
IMPORTANT: A TurningPoint subscription is mandatory for students. If a participant does not purchase a TurningPoint subscription, their score will show as an asterisk in all TurningPoint participant reports. Furthermore, their score will export as "0" to an Excel workbook and will not be exported to Sakai. You may also see a Grade Upload Warning popup as depicted below which will display students who have not yet registered; click OK to dismiss this popup.
5. Upload session results data to Sakai.
The Upload Grade Column window is displayed. Select the column(s) to be exported and click the Upload button.
The Task Status window is displayed. When the upload has completed successfully, click the Close button.
6. Verify exported results data to Sakai Gradebook.
In Sakai navigate to the Gradebook tool in your course site that corresponds to your participant list in the TurningPoint App. View the gradebook item that corresponds to the results data you have exported from the TurningPoint App.Verify that the maximum points in the gradebook item and the students' performance in points match the results data in the TurningPoint App.
