How do I view my discussion activity feedback?

Instructors may provide feedback on your discussion activity participation in two general ways, sometimes using both. Instructors may provide you graded feedback in Gradebook, optionally using comments and/or rubrics. Instructors may also provide feedback within topic conversations as replies to your posts.

How to view instructor feedback in Gradebook

Go to Gradebook.

View score, rubric, and/or comment for discussion activity.

Locate the discussion activity among the rows in Gradebook. You should find a point score if the instructor has graded this activity. In the column on the far right, a comment from your instructor may display if your instructor entered one. A rubric icon may display if the instructor used a rubric to grade the activity. Click the icon to view the feedback in the rubric.

Note: If you have not set your ‘Notifications’ settings to receive “No notifications”, you should receive any responses to your posts as emails to your PLU Gmail inbox.

Go to Discussions.

Click on the desired topic.

Click on the link to your initial post.

View the instructor's and others' replies to your post.

Instructor feedback within a topic conversation will display like replies by other students. The example below depicts a student’s initial post to the conversation, another student’s reply, and the instructor’s posts replying to both students.
