Sakai 23 - Zoom Meetings: How do I import other Zoom meetings into the Zoom Meetings tool?
Important: The Zoom Meetings tool in Sakai is no longer available to instructors to add to course sites. Information related to this transition and the status of PLU’s licensing for Zoom can be found on the PLU Status Page blog. Sakai integration with Zoom Meetings will be unavailable for Summer 2025 course sites and beyond.
Google Meet is available to use as an alternative to Zoom within your course. To make use of Google Meet in Sakai, refer to How do I integrate Google Meet with Sakai? and the Transition Guide from Zoom to Google Meet.
How do I import other Zoom meetings into the Zoom Meetings tool?
Follow the steps below if you have scheduled Zoom meetings outside of the Zoom Meetings tool and you want to import those meetings so that students can readily join them through Zoom Meetings.
Note: A meeting that is imported into a course site by using the method described below cannot be imported into other sites. In other words, meetings created outside the Zoom Meetings tool can be imported into only one course site in Sakai.
Go to Zoom Meetings.

Click the vertical stack of dots and then Import Meeting.
Enter the Meeting ID and click Import
Enter the meeting ID for the meeting you want to import and click Import. You can obtain the meeting ID in the "All My Zoom Meetings/Recordings" view of the Zoom Meetings tool or in your Meetings listings in plu-edu.zoom.us/meeting.
