Screencast-O-Matic: Installing

Only PLU faculty and staff are allowed to use our licensed PRO version of Screencast-O-Matic. Follow the instructions below, and email for license credentials.
To download and install Screencast-O-Matic:
  1. Open a web browser and navigate to
  2. Click the Download Install button. The download will begin. 
  3. Install the software.
  • Windows: Navigate to the download location of the installation file and open it. Proceed through the installation steps until complete.
  • Mac: A new Finder window will open. Click-and-drag the Screencast-O-Matic icon into the Applications folder. 
  • Launch Screencast-O-Matic.
