Alumni and Former Student Account Access

PLU graduates and former students are granted continued access to their ePass accounts for one full year after graduation or one year from their last date of enrollment. At that time, access to all resources associated with their PLU Google account as well as Office 365 resources will end. Email notifications will be sent to each user prior to account deletion and it is the responsibility of each former student to transfer or download any content from their account that they would like to keep prior to that time. Instructions for transferring or saving Google Workspace content are provided in the links below.  

All former students who had retained access to their PLU account prior to Spring of 2024 will lose access on May 31st, 2025.  Notifications have been sent to these individuals and we encourage each of these users to review their accounts prior to that date.  

Recommended options for moving or saving content from your PLU account:

Option 1: Transfer Your Content

You can use Google's account transfer tool to migrate your PLU email and Google Drive content to another Google account. This option is specifically for transferring email and Google Drive content and a personal Gmail account will need to be created prior to beginning this process. Detailed instructions for transferring your files with this tool are provided here.

Option 2: Export Your Files

If you prefer to store your data elsewhere, you can use Google Takeout to export your PLU email and Google Drive files. This is a more flexible option, which includes the ability to export content from a wide range of Google services; however, it can take some extra work finding alternate applications that will import the content to view or accept the file types that it creates for you.  Instructions for using this tool are available here.
