Campuswire: Direct Messaging (DMs)
Direct Messages (DMs) can be used to communicate privately one-on-one with any student or instructor that has a PLU Campuswire account. DMs are accessed from the top of the tool menu to the left.

To start a new DM conversation with a user, either:
- Navigate to DMs, click the âSearch for someone to DMâ button, enter a name or email address, and select the user under âPeople.â Users can be searched by Class/Group as well.
- From the Class Feed, click a userâs profile icon, and click the âDirect messageâ button from the pop-up that appears.
- Navigate to Settings, click the âClass membersâ tab, click the three-dot button to the right of the userâs name, and select âDirect message userâ from the pop-up that appears.
- Click the Live Users list to the bottom of the page and click a userâs name.
All created conversations will appear in a list in the DMs. To quickly search for an existing conversation, use the âFilter DMsâ field above the list.
To delete or mute a conversation, hover over it, click the three-dot button, and select an option.
The Campuswire Help Center is available to the bottom-left of the page.
