How do I join upcoming meetings?

Instructors can schedule single instances of meetings or recurring meetings in the Zoom Meetings tool. Students can join specific meetings in the student view of the Zoom Meetings tool in Sakai. The steps for joining meetings are below.

Go to Zoom Meetings.

Go to Zoom Meetings.

Click Join for the meeting in the Upcoming Meetings tab.

Upcoming meetings are listed in the Upcoming Meetings tab in the Zoom Meetings tool. For the meeting of interest, click Join.

Clicking Join should open a new browser tab with a prompt to launch or open the Zoom application in which to join the Zoom meeting. 

Note: Some users of Firefox may see an error message stating Unauthorized. Refer to this advisory for steps to resolve that issue.

In some cases you may be prompted by the Zoom application to sign in to Zoom to join the meeting, as in the case of the prompt depicted below. Click Sign in to Join.

Click Sign in to join.

When presented with options for how to sign in, click Sign In with SSO.

Click Sign In with SSO.

You may also need to provide a portion of the URL to sign in. Enter “plu-edu” and click Continue.

Enter plu-edu.

If you are instead presented with a prompt to Search company domain as depicted below, click the I know the company domain link. Then enter the plu.edu prefix as shown above and click Continue. (You could alternatively enter your PLU email address based on your ePass username.)

Click I know the company domain link.

Then enter your PLU ePass credentials into the login prompt hosted by weblogin.plu.edu.
