Google Sites: Inserting Embeds (YouTube videos, etc)
New Google Sites, 2021. Be aware that different versions of Google Sites will vary in appearance and functionality. Access Google Sites at sites.google.com.
Embedding a URL will create an interactive element, such as a video player.
To embed URLs, such as for an online video:
- Copy the URL or embed code from the desired source.
- Navigate to the Insert tab to the right and click the "Embed" element. A new window will appear.
- Paste the URL in the "By URL" tab, or embed code in the "Embed code" tab.
- Click "Insert."
The embedded element will be added to the page.
